2. Large Tank Frog Housing System

d. Drip System

The large tanks are set-up as drip systems. Water flows in via a hose, and out via a two-piece overflow drain (Figures 32, 33). The constant flow keeps the water relatively clear of toxins and debris. The tanks are drained, thoroughly cleaned and refilled every 8 – 10 days.

Note: These tanks can also be used as holding water systems. Simply fill the tank with water to the desired level. When you wish to change the water, remove the inner standpipe and allow the water to drain. Flush the tank, replace the inner standpipe, and refill the tank.
